The nominations for the coming Academy Awards 2013 is already out. And with 2012 being a year of so many great films, it’s not a surprise that the Oscar race is tight. However, as always, there were some early favorites who were rejected. And needless to say, the snubbing of them earned some gasps.
According to reports, the 2013 Oscar nominations list was particularly released last Thursday. And with the legit players for the Academy trophies laid out, anticipation as to who will bring them home is on the rise. Meanwhile, disappointment of some fans over the exclusion of their bets is evident.
Basically, the most notable nods and snubs in the Oscar nominations are seen on the best actor, best actress, best director and best picture categories. Daniel Day-Lewis, Anne Hathaway, Steven Speilberg and “Lincoln” are among those who/that impressed the Academy. On the other, Richard Gere, Nicole Kidman, Ben Affleck and “Moonrise Kingdom” were some of those who/that were noticeably snubbed.

According to the said post, the nominations for all the Academy Awards categories were released last Thursday. And needless to say, it drew mixed reactions. It gained the approval of some for the nods it gave. Others though were disappointed for the exclusion of expected nominees.”
